Anti – IEBC protests will be held daily starting next week, Siaya senator James Orengo has said, adding that the team will not tire pushing for resignation of a number of electoral body officials.

Thousands of opposition protestors for the second week went to streets on Wednesday calling for radical surgery in the electoral body.

At Nairobi, Orengo said the protests will be intensified from next week adding that the team will hold demonstrations on a daily basis.

“We have done this before and we are not tired at all. It works and those who think we cannot manage, they even saw people like Isaak Hassan going,” he said, making reference to immediate former electoral team.

He further said: “the frequency now will be seven days in a week. Our three days session ends this Friday. We will not abandon the program.”

Already, opposition leader Raila Odinga has withdrawn out of the race on grounds that the commission should sack a number of officials.

His latest move has not been received well with Jubilee party as president Uhuru Kenyatta maintains elections will take place as planned.
