Siaya senator James Orengo has come out to explain the meaning of Githu Muigai's resignation.
Last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta announced that Muigai had resigned after serving for six and half years.
Speaking over the weekend in Siaya, Orengo stated that the shock resignation was an indication that the Jubilee government will fall soon.
“Githu purported that Raila committed treason by taking the oath as the People’s President. I advise him to interpret the law correctly or go back to school. He has finally opted for a refresher programme," said Orengo.
Early this year, Muigai had announced that anybody who attempts any swearing-in will be charged with treason a crime punishable by death.
Orengo added that NASA has an elaborate plan to ensure President leaves office smoothly just like South Africa's Jacob Zuma.
NASA had earlier announced that it will push for fresh elections by August this year.
