NASA lawyers James Orengo and Otiende Amollo are among 10 lawyers who will challenge Machakos governor Alfred Mutua’s win against Wavinya Ndeti in the recently concluded polls.
The two senior counsels played a huge part in the case won by Raila Odinga in the Supreme Court recently.
Ndeti was a Wiper party governor candidate in the August 8 general election.
The former MP filed the petition on Tuesday, and was accompanied by lawyer Danson Maanzo.

The over 10,000 pages petition seeks to annul Governor Mutua’s victory.
Ndeti claims the gubernatorial election was marred by irregularities.
“We are seeking several orders so that the election can be nullified. We cannot have peace without justice and so we have come to court to seek justice,” said Mr Maanzo on Tuesday evening.
Ndeti was accompanied by several supporters who danced and sang songs as the petition was filed at the Machakos law courts.
