[Photo| the-star]Siaya senator James Orengo has reacted moments after the two Kenya's former presidents participated in (Thursday) repeat presidential election.Ex-President Mwai Kibaki cast his vote at Munaini primary school, in Othaya, Nyeri county while former president Daniel Arap Moi voted at Kabarak Polling Station, Rongai sub-county, Nakuru county.According to Orengo, Moi and Kibaki were Mzee Jomo Kenyatta's (late) men and therefore their vote shows that the election was between Uhuru and Kenyatta. Mzee Kenyatta was Kenya's first president."Today Moi & Kibaki voted for Uhuru. Earlier days they were Kenyatta men. Today's vote in essence was Uhuru vs Kenyatta. What a charade !" Orengo said in a twitter post, Thursday.Other leaders who also voted in the Thursday's election included Chief Justice David Maraga and Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.The National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders alongside their supporters boycotted the election across different parts of the country with law turnout being recorded in opposition perceived strongholds.
