Raila Odinga will after all not retire from active politics contrary to people's expectations, Siaya senator James Orengo has said.
Instead, he adds, Raila is busy reinventing himself for the top prize and would rally for his bid throughout the country in 2022.
"Those who think that Odinga is out are in for a rude shock. My boss is still focused on the top prize," he said in Migori during the homecoming party of Pamela Adhiambo.
The seasoned politician added: "He is not retiring any soon as some people think. We will want the top post."
Also interested in presidency is Deputy President William Ruto and Baringo senator Gideon Moi, who have already declared their interest.
For three consecutive elections, Raila was declared a loser and boycotted 2017 October repeat polls.
