Makueni Member of Parliament, Dan Manzo, on Thursday called upon Siaya senator to decline the new seat he is being offered.
According to the Makueni lawmaker, Mr. Orengo is already the Deputy Minority Leader and being the Minority Leader will not change much.
"If I were senator Orengo really, he is already the deputy and is not going to change anything much by becoming now the leader," argued Maanzo
Speaking during a Tv interview on one of the local stations, Mr. Manzo said that every vote counts and if Orengo and if he is aware of this and also means well for the coalition like he has been saying then he should decline the position.
"Remember, every vote counts and everybody in a coalition's vote hunting is important. So if at all senator Orengo means well for the future of the coalition or if he is not out to cause mayhem within the NASA he should decline the position," said Mr. Manzo.
He asked senator Orengo to thank the senators but decline the position and support the idea that Wetangula be the Senate minority leader.
The lawmaker went ahead to advise Mr. Wetangula to change if there is anywhere the coalition wants him to change.
"He should thank the senators but decline the position and support the idea that Wetangula becomes the leader and also senator Wetangula if there are things they were unhappy with I think he should improve them," advised Mr. Manzo.
