Siaya Senator James Orengo has refuted claims that there are cracks within Opposition coalition NASA.
Speaking on Tuesday in an exclusive interview with KTN News, the NASA lawyer insisted that the outfit is still intact.
He further noted that it was remarkable that the four major political parties that make up the Opposition coalition had remained united for a common goal for that long.
"There are no cracks in NASA," he said with finality.
"NASA should be given a gold medal. There is nowhere in the world where mainstream opposition parties work together in a coalition with structure both inside and outside Parliament," he added.
Orengo's affirmation comes just days after reports emerged that top NASA leaders are sharply divided on Raila Odinga's oath plan slated for later this month.
It is believed that NASA principals Moses Wetangula and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka are opposed to plans to swear in the former Prime Minister as the People's President.
The two contend that the Opposition should instead holds talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta to help solve the current political stalemate.
Wetangula's party Deputy and Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has since come out in strong opposition to the swearing in ceremony.
In a recent press briefing, the lawmaker further publicly acknowledged the presidency of Uhuru Kenyatta.
