Last month, the former Ugenya MP secured ODM nomination even without releasing a single campaign material unlike his opponents.
And on Monday during presentation of IEBC papers in Siaya, the flamboyant politician tasked locals to take charge of his campaigns; a move that he said would allow him concentrate on delivering presidency.
“I am overwhelmed that you campaigned for me during nominations and I want to task you again,” said the leftist politician who hit headlines during the fight for pluralism in Kenya.
He added: “I will be concentrating on national politics because we want to deliver presidency. I hope you will graciously take your new task.”
Understandably, Orengo who helped to craft MoU that led to formation of NASA coalition has been taking the role of Master of Ceremony in all opposition activities.
On record, the former powerful SONU chair is believed to have recorded statements or detained in all Nairobi police cells due to his zeal to fight establishments.
