Lawyer James Orengo claims that Jubilee IT team used slain IEBC ICT officer Chris Msando’s log details but failed to logout hence the alleged continuous relaying of results.
Although the commission has dismissed claims that the portal continues to relay results, figures have continuously changed despite the commission making final verdict.
And on Sunday at Mathare, Orengo said Msando’s details were used to login adding that the hackers could have failed to access logout details.
“IEBC has not availed Form 34A yet they announced results. What we are seeing in the portal is an indication that there was hacking.
“They have failed to stop it from running because they do not have Msando’s logout details. That is the bitter truth but we have solutions to such issues,” he said.
Msando, who is set to be buried on Saturday, was killed by unknown people few days to August 8 elections and his body was dumped near Kikuyu.
On Tuesday, Raila Odinga was among key guests who visited the family of the slain IEBC senior official in Nairobi.
