Siaya Senator James Orengo has alleged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is planning to rig the next general election.

According to the Senator, IEBC has already begun sabotaging the polls. Orengo speaking on Saturday said that IEBC is employing the same tactics used in 2013 by carrying out premature procurement of ballot boxes. 

“They have even ordered from companies to bring them ballot papers. Ballot papers don’t need to be ordered now,” Said Orengo. 

The Siaya Senator stated that the Opposition would only take part in the polls if they are assured that the exercise will transparent, free and fair.
