Senior counsel James Orengo's tweet on supporting Real Madrid in the Champions League final against Liverpool drew mixed reactions on social media, with many siding with the English side ahead of the showdown.
Orengo, who happens to be a Madrid fan was full of optimism ahead of the historical match, which was played in Kyiv on Saturday night.
"Another great day for Real Madrid," tweeted Orengo.
This triggered reactions among Kenyan fans, who took side with their favourite team in the final.
"Forget about that.. @Lfc will hurt them badly! First 45Mins the tie shall have been decided," Moses said.
"Mheshimiwa Leo lazima madrid ianguke..," Fred Mwidigaza said.
"You people will be shocked and surprised Real Madrid being defeated in humiliation. 6 goals to 2 in favour of the might (sic) Liverpool. It once shocked people coming from 3 nil first half to win 4-3," George Morara said.
"My heart is with Liverpool, but my money is with Real Madrid," a fan who identified himself as Punda Amechoka tweeted.
"There's little on earth today that can stop Real Madrid!" said Tom.
"I support you Mr. Orengo, this is not even a final....with CR7 everything is okay," Alfon noted.
This Champions League final is expected to attract millions of soccer fans worldwide.
