Lawyer James Orengo’s mental psychology could have after all played a major role in nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory.
A rare ruling by Supreme Court judges on a majority basis annulled Uhuru’s victory, becoming the third president in the world to have his election nullified.
And Orengo, who also doubles as Siaya senator was the architect behind Uhuru’s fall following his mind games after the elections that made Uhuru’s team to relax.
Following the declaration of Uhuru, Orengo vowed never to challenge the decision in court only to make a U-turn few declares to the elapsing of constitutional timelines.
In all rallies and pressers NASA did after the elections, there was no indication that the decision would be challenged in court.
But the mountainous documents filed by the court met Uhuru’s strong legal team unprepared and the picture was real when a number of them fumbled during submissions in Supreme Court.
Within the legal cycles, Orengo is among the top lawyers in the country who have prosecuted hundreds of major cases.
