President Uhuru Kenyatta has been urged to incorporate other individuals outside his Jubilee side in the yet-to-be set cabinet.

The Center for Multiparty Democracy wants the president to effect this, saying it is the only way the country can heal from the troubles of the past political season.

According to Chairman Omingo Magara, who spoke on Tuesday, the current political state requires an urgent solution.

He said his team is willing to offer a solution, saying they will in two weeks facilitate the formation of a seven-member bipartisan task force committee to spearhead the national dialogue initiative.

"We have a political problem, which must be solved politically. We require a non-partisan body to bring these leaders together for a national dialogue," he said as quoted by the Star.

“It is not possible to bring warring factions together unless you are seen to be non-partisan,” Magara added.

The country has been in a state of political quagmire in the last few months, with president Kenyatta was sworn in last week.

NASA leader Raila Odinga has also said he will be sworn in on 12th December, insisting they do not recognize president Kenyatta's win.
