[Photo| Courtesy]A 14-year-old orphaned boy, Ian Kiprono, who hails from from Eldama Ravine is yet to join high school even after performing well in his Kenya Primary and Secondary Education (KCPE) exam. Kiprono who scored 417 marks out of 500 in 2016 is unable to further his studies due to school fees challenges. The orphan child was to join Kabsabet Boys High School but his guardians could not raise the required fees. According to Kiprono's aunt Roselyn Chemirmir, his primary education was sponsored by well-wishers. Kiprono's headteacher of Neswin Academy, Evans Kiprono, described the boy as hardworking and disciplined.He is the youngest of eight children.
