Kisii Women Representative Mrs Mary Otara has slammed Kisii deputy governor’s recent utterances that Jubilee party has taken control over Kisii county and said that ODM is still strong and will clinch a majority of seats in the entire region.
Speaking on Tuesday morning when she delivered bursaries for the needy students in Kereri girls the Women Rep said that they are on the ground to ensure that their party leader wins come August so that they can a shame Jubilee.
“On my part, I have played a role and I thank the local residents for giving me the chance to serve them and I will ensure that I work for them in the next five years as I am sure they will elect me come August,” she added.
Otara called upon Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi to stop imposing Jubilee to the local residents as they are not ready for the party and instead explain to the locals what he has done for them as he is the county’s Deputy Governor.
She also called upon the locals to register as voters so that they can be able to vote for the leaders who deliver and work on their promises.
