[Photo|Wilberforce Otichillo]Vihiga Governor Wilberforce Ottichilo has embarked on wards visits to ascertain the number of development projects that have stalled and put in place measure to ensure that they are completed.Accompanied by his deputy Dr Patrick Saisi, MCAs and other senior county officers, Otichillo started the tour in Emuhaya sub-county on Tuesday, where he visited North East Bunyore, Central and West Bunyore wards.The governor visited Ipali, Ebukholo, Isava, Ebukhaya, Emusire and Ematsuli health centres.He also toured Emurembe-Emunichia-Ebunangwe, Ipali-Emulaka-Elusi roads and Musila bridge.He promised that all the stalled projects would be completed adding that he would give priority to Musila bridge and Ebukholo dispensary.He questioned why some projects had stalled yet millions of shillings had been invested in them and promised to investigate the matter.Ottichilo said he was concerned with the sorry state of most health facilities in the rural areas.He added that such facilities would soon be given a facelift and equiped with adequate medical facilities for effective service delivery.He thanked residents for voting for him and assured them that he would deliver on his development agenda.Otichillo noted that he had started programmes aimed at transforming the county and alleviate poverty.
