Rarieda MP and NASA lawyer Otiende Amollo has, however, said that the country can rest assured that this is not the last time it is witnessing anti-IEBC demos. "Personally I intended to go for the anti-IEBC demos but I was caught up in court. We have raised our issues pertaining reforms at the IEBC and our expectation is that they will be met voluntarily but if not, our options are many. As for the anti-IEBC demos, we are not yet done, expect more" Amollo told Citizen TV on Tuesday evening.IEBC Commissioner Dr Roseline Akombe speaking at the same time said any Kenyan has a right to demonstrate.Nevertheless, she noted that at this point, there are things that can be done, while others cannot be practically done referring to some of NASA's so-called irreducible minimums. She expressed optimism that both NASA and Jubilee will attend Wednesday's meeting with IEBC meant to iron out some of the concerns NASA has raised.'I hope leaders from either political side will come for the meeting with IEBC tomorrow.Ultimately it is also our responsibility to make decisions that favour the voter," said Akombe. On his part Senate Majority Leader Senator Kipchumba Murkomen confirmed that Jubilee will meet IEBC as scheduled."NASA made it clear that they would not attend our meeting if the IEBC chair did not respond to their demands. IEBC must look at issues raised by Nasa and give responses to them. However, NASA must respect that IEBC, just like Supreme Court, is independent and makes its own decisions," Murkomen said.
