Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has walked out of a live NTV interview.
The National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader made good his threat to walk out of the studio after Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa joined the panel.
Amollo accused Ichung'wa, a Jubilee Party MP, of posting an offensive tweet against the Luo community.
"I will not sit in a panel with Kimani Ichung'wa because he sent a tweet that I find completely offensive, a tweet that suggests that it is okay to maim and kill Luos. If he appears here I will walk out," Amollo said.
Immediately Ichung'wa entered the studio, the ODM MP walked out of the panel, leaving Kiambu Senator Kimani Wa Matangi with Ichung'wa in the morning show.
Speaking on NTV, Ichung'wa disowned the tweet that Amollo said targetted Luos.
"I only have one Twitter account. I am in the process of having it verified. I even suspect these fake accounts are being created and operated by Nasa propagandists. To the Luo nation, if there is someone you will never find fuelling ethnic hate, it's Kimani Ichung'wa. Most of my friends are Luos and Somalis," Ichung'wa said.
Nasa leaders have accused the government of using the police to kill their supporters during anti-IEBC protests.
