Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba may find himself on the receiving end after his close friend Funyula MP Paul Otuoma disowned the 'Third Force' movement that Namwamba has been popularizing in the country two months after quitting his powerful ODM Secretary General position.
Dr Otuoma who was among the Western ODM MPs who defected from the party due to 'poor leadership' is now softening his stance regarding the Orange party and insisted that he has never been a member of the 'Third Force' and that he remains a committed ODM member.
"The clamour for Luhya unity must not be blindfolded from obvious truths," Otuoma said.
According to the former ODM deputy Chairman, for the Luhya community to ever taste unity, they must have a climate that captures current political system and that they need to be visionary.
"You cannot just leave your home and have no plan. There must be a plan. There must be a structure," he added.
Dr Otuoma's comments leave Ababu in an uncharted political territory ahead of the 2017 poll.
