Wako has said that he will not support any independent candidate for the sake of NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
Otuoma, who fell out with Raila, following nominations in which he lost to Ojaamong opted to contest for the seat as an Independent candidate. Earlier on, Wako had been reluctant to back the current governor.
The senator has, however, said that he will rally the electorate behind leadership nominated by ODM as we head to the August polls.
The senator changed his tune after elders from his community questioned him over his stand in NASA. The outspoken said that he is the last person who can deny Raila victory.
"We want Raila not to lose even one vote. If we start quarrelling within Nasa, Raila will lose the presidency,” said Wako, a former Attorney General.
He further said that his greatest desire is seeing Raila become the next President of this country come August.
