Ms Odinga said that the recent scenes where ODM rallies have been marred with violence and chaos were sending a negative image to the public about the party.

She told party members to shun such as it was being used by ODM’s political rivals to tarnish the party’s image.

"We must remain focused on making the party vibrant. Fighting and chaos are denting the party’s image to the benefit of our competitors," she said.

"Those behind violence should stop giving Raila a hard time because he is not supporting any particular candidate."

Odinga also called upon the party’s hierarchy to punish MCAs, MPs, senators and governors who may fuel violence against their rivals, asking that they be disqualified.
