Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris has affirmed that NASA's planned mass action against IEBC commissioners will abide by the law.

According to Passaris, NASA will not force itself into IEBC offices to eject the commissioners.

She believes the voice of the people will be enough to pass across the intended message to IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati and his team.

In her view, IEBC messed up the August polls and people have no faith in the electoral body conducting another election in the country.

"It should be clear that NASA's mass action on Tuesday will abide by the law. We will not force ourselves into IEBC offices but it is the voice of the people that will be used to pass the message across," said Passaris.

The legislator further reiterated that NASA will not go into an election with IEBC as currently constituted.

"The Supreme Court ruling was clear that IEBC committed illegalities and irregularities in the August presidential election. We therefore have no faith in the electoral body conducting another election as it is currently constituted," added Passaris.

Passaris made the remarks on Monday during a political discussion on Citizen TV where she called for Jubilee to support NASA in its quest election reforms.
