Lawmakers allied to the opposition NASA coalition should be graced for tough times ohead.

This is according to NASA leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking to the MPs in a closed-door session, Raila said that in the fight to push for changes in the governance of the country, NASA MPs will be forced to make sacrifices for the best of citizens.

“We have endured these injustices for too long. I know the next steps we are taking will be painful and taxing, but I want you to make sacrifices,” Raila said as reported by the Star.

“We must be prepared to be on the right side of history. It is important, because history will judge us harshly if we let down our future generations,” he added.

Raila further said that he had met his technical team mandated to draft his “liberation” strategy that would see the People’s Assembly continue to exist until the country got a “legitimate” President.

This could be a hint that NASA plans to disregard the Parliament or hold houses parallel to the two.
