Garissa Township legislator Aden Duale has assured Jubilee leaders eyeing for different posts in the 2017 general elections that nominations will be free and fair.
He refuted claims that Jubilee party has preferred candidates, adding that the newly formed Jubilee Party does not have a preferred candidate for the different posts.
He urged the leaders not to shy from contesting in the preliminaries since they will go with the people’s choice.
“We want every leader to contest for the various posts. We do not have a preferred candidate and we want a leader who will be chosen by the people to be the flag bearer of the different posts running from the Governor to women representatives,” Said Duale.
There has been claims that Jubilee Party has a list of preferred candidates for the 2017 general elections, something that the national assembly majority leader has refuted.
