The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has rubbished claims by NASA coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga that their online results portal has been hacked by persons who are manipulating the reults.

NASA had eariler claimed that the hacking started at 12:40 pm on Tuesday, giving President Uhuru Kenyatta false lead.

While addressing the nation at Bomas of Kenya, IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba said they have confirmed that no hackers have gain access in their portal.

"We believe that we have done everything possible to ensure the integrity of that system. Our election mangement system is secure. We confirm there were no interferences before, during and after the polling exercise," said Chiloba.

Chiloba also said the databases that NASA was claiming to have been hacked is different to what the IEBC is using for the results.

"Results transmission system is different from database fingered by the opposition," he addded.
