This was after residents demonstrated at Rabuor, demanding for a public hearing in order to give their opinion over the matter.

On Sunday Mr Outa said the former Kadibo Division which has been under Kisumu East Sub County would revert to Nyando to match the political boundary.

“We had agreed that we have one administrative and political territory where Kadibo would join Nyando. I believe this is the right move so as to avoid the confusion which has marred the area for the last couple of years,” said Outa.

However, even as the MP held a meeting with chiefs and assistant chiefs from the area in Ahero, a section of Kadibo residents held a peaceful demonstration at Rabuor where they demanded to be given time to decide their administrative area.

Outa has however, said the protest was politically motivated, saying Kadibo residents have no option but to follow the new administrative boundaries.

“The administrative boundaries have been reviewed and I advise you chiefs not to be used by politicians to do otherwise. What we should be discussing now is where to have the headquarters, whether at Boya or within Ahero town. Those fronting different facts will have to square it in court with authorities,” he said.
