Outa who criss-crossed Nyakach Sub County on Monday said he is up to the task to be Kisumu Senator in the coming polls.

He said he will ensure public funds meant for development to the people is put into proper use.

“I am ready to go to work for the people of Kisumu. My work will be to ensure funds come to the county from the national government. After that, I will follow on projects that have been budgeted for. If there is no work, I will make noise,” he said.

Addressing ODM party officials and supporters in West Nyakach and South West Nyakach wards, Outa said the role of the Senator must be understood by the people.

He said he will ensure there is equal distribution of resources to the Sub Counties.

Outa warned the incoming Governor in 2017 that it will not be a walk in the park.

“If I am elected the Senator, I will ensure that the Governor does not discriminate in terms of employment or in terms of development. All the seven sub-counties must benefit,” he said.

He said if Governor Jack Ranguma retains his seat or any other person takes it, he will ensure that he puts the Governor on toes in regard to development.

The MP addresses locals in Gari and Kolweny markets.
