Residents of Kibera have responded with anger to a post by a white tourist in the area.
In the post, the tourist is seen responding with venom to a small child who merely asked about whether he would come back again.
The white person castigates the girl's ambitions and predicts a doomed future for her.
"One of the most happiest moments in your life was probably when you met me and my friends, and you asked me when I am coming back... In two years you are going to meet a man that you have never met and then marry and have children," read part of the post.
The post also predicted an early divorce for the marriage and added that the girl would eventually turn into a commercial sex worker.
This did not go down well with a section of Kibera residents.
"Hawa watu ndio wanahakikisha Africa haitoki kwa umaskini. They always wanaua progress yetu kila wakati inaanza kwa kutuletea wars na ugonjwa. Then wakiona mtoto mdogo hata hawana haya. Kumbaff," said Oscar Odinga.
This translates as:
"These people are the ones who ensure that Africa remains in poverty. They always come to kill our progress whenever it begins and they do this through wars and diseases. Now when they see our small kids they don't even feel ashamed."
"This is so wrong. How does one insult a child whose future he doesn't know," lamented Aggrey Ogot.
"Go away. I would kill you if I met you in daylight. Take away your white skin and evil," added Ogot.
"This is so wrong. So what wrong did the child do? Very very wrong," said Ilyas Hakim.
