Over 100 lawmakers will on Saturday converge in Mombasa during celebrations to mark the Orange Democratic Movement's ten years of existence.
The 110 MPs will join ODM party leader Raila Odinga during the grand jamboree also expected to be attended by 450 opposition MCAs.
The event, according to Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, will be used by Mr Odinga, to make a major political declaration as the country prepares for the 2017 general election.
A day before the event, the party, through Governor Hassan Joho will flag off 47 buses to be deployed in 47 counties in aid of party operations.
"The deputy party leader (Joho) shall host a private reception in honor of Hon Raila Odinga and Mama Ida where 450 MCAs, 110 MPs, 18 senators and at least 10 governors have confirmed attendance over and above the delegates from all over Kenya," a statement by Mr Mohamed read in part.
The celebration is viewed as an opportunity for the opposition to show-off its might since it will coincide with the official launch of the Jubilee Party.
Mombasa county is among devolved units where the opposition still enjoys massive support.
Celebrations will conclude with a dramatic fireworks display and performances by award-winning artist Diamond who will jet in from the US.
