[Photo|Larry Madowo]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has indicated that over 100 people have been killed by the police countrywide, including 10 children, following declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as president elect.Since the Friday night declaration, areas such as Nairobi, particularly Kibra, Huruma and Mathare, and Kisumu's areas of Nyamasaria, Nyalenda, Kondele, and Homa Bay and Migori regions have been experiencing violence, and protests, with police allegedly using excessive force and firearm on residents.According to Nasa, the police have killed residents in the said regions, following 'order from above'.Addressing the press, Nasa alternate presidential election agent Siaya Senator James Orengo and Deputy Campaign Manager Johnston Muthama, said all the police brutality incidents were planned before Kenyans went to the ballot."This is why we said that police had received body bags before elections but it was dismissed. It seems like this was well orchestrated," said Orengo, Saturday, at the Okoa Kenya Offices in Lavington. They asked the police to restrain from using excessive force in controlling the crowds, after they showed bullet cartridges that police reportedly used on residents in Kibra.Nasa also called on supporters to stay calm, as they wait for an announcement on the next cause of action, after they were not declared winner in the election.Acting Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i has since said he was not aware of any deaths or injuries, resulted from the incidents.
