Opposition party ODM has received a mega boost after members of the Amani National Congress ditched the Musalia Mudavadi-led party and joined the orange party.
The ANC members were received by ODM leader RRaila Odinga on Tuesday during his visit to Kakamega county.
All the ANC members came from Kakamega county and were received during Mr Odinga's rally at Shinyalu constituency.
Mr Odinga received them during his tour of the larger Western region.
There departure from ANC comes days after the ruling Jubilee coalition received a section of ODM politicians from the Coast.
Jubilee coalition claimed more of those defecting were leaving the opposition for parties affiliated to the ruling coalition.
Political realignments have began taking shape ahead of the 2017 general election.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to tussle it out with either Mr Odinga, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula or any other presidential candidate that the opposition will front during the election.
