The Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Mombasa show is set to take place between August 24-28 at Mkomani Show Grounds.
Nearly 200 international participants from China, India, Russia, Pakistan, Uganda and Tanzania are expected to exhibit their agricultural products.
According to ASK Coast Branch Chairman Brown Ondego, preparations for the exhibitions are at an advanced stage.
"At the moment, exhibitors are busy renovating their stands while agriculture firms and groups are preparing their fields for display of crops," said Ondego, as quoted by the Nation.
Ondego said that they had sent invitations to 620 local and international exhibitors and were targeting nearly 300.
He urged Coast residents to turn up in large numbers in a bid to learn new agricultural techniques to curb food insecurity.
The theme of the event will be: "Enhancing technology in Agriculture and Technology for food security and national growth."
