[Photo|County    Government of Uasin Gishu]Uasin Gishu County Alcoholics and Drinks Control Board and County Enforcement Officers have nabbed over 2,000 sachets of illicit alcohol.The alcohol nabbed in an operation in Munyaka in the outskirts of Eldoret town were in plastic sachets banned by the national government.County Commissioner Abdi Hassan, while addressing the media, Tuesday, said the brands were from a neighboring country."Their labelling isn't known. Some indicating a packaging warning of over 21 years which doesn't suit the normal warning brands," said Hassan.He also disclosed that police were investigating chances that they were being packaged in the country, after a packaging pump was found with the sachets.Chairman of the County Alcoholic Drinks and Control Board, Elijah Cherus, said the brands were not among those licensed and called on the business community to focus on genuine businesses.
