340 county inspectorate officers from Machakos county have threatened to quit their jobs due to unpaid salaries and lack of appointment letters years after they were employed.
They also complained of unpaid allowances for Mashujaa day celebrations which were held last year in Machakos.
The officers who have been receiving sacking threats for demanding their rights have opted to go to court and make use of the county government workers union Machakos chapter.
Chris Mutua of the county government workers union confirmed they received the complaints and will strive to hold a meeting this week.
