Musyoka disbursed university and college bursaries worth Sh30 million to the students who submitted their applications for the fund during an annual comrades meeting on December 2017.

He said taking education to higher heights has been one of his key agendas.

The students have been holding AGM since 2014 where they apply for bursaries during the event.

They also use the opportunity to decide on methods of the fund's allocation.

Students have over the years decided on equal allocation of bursaries to each one of them.

Last year, 2,200 students were issued Sh10,000 each.

In 2016, 1,100 students were each issued Sh7,000 and in 2015 , 1,000 students were given Sh5,500 to support their education.
