ODM leader Raila on Wednesday met members of the Maasai community at Orange House Nairobi.
The delegation from Narok County visited Mr Odinga and assured him of support come 2017.
Kajiado Central MP Elijah Memusi led the over 50 influential members from the community to meet Mr Odinga.
Mr Memusi has remained one of Raila's point men in Maasai land.
Memusi, who spoke on behalf of the delegation said the Maasai were fully in support of Raila's bid for the presidency in 2017.
The visit came just a day after another delegation from Narok County visited State House and held talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Raila during the Wednesday meeting said he would help bolster development in Maasai land if he became president.
He said the Maasai people have been marginalised for along time adding that time had come for the region to be developed.
The delegation that visited State House was led by former Minister William Ole Ntimama.
Orange House has of recent experienced a beehive of activity as people from various regions in the country visit the ODM headquarters to bond with ODM's top leadership.
