Over 7,000 graduands are today, Thursday, set to graduate from the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), with various certificates and diplomas in various health courses.
Health Cabinet Secretary Dr Cleopa Mailu is expected to preside over the 84th graduation ceremony at KMTC graduation square in Nairobi, with the event set to kick-off at 10am.
The ceremony brings together graduands from all KMTC campuses countrywide.
"Graduands should be seated at the graduation square by 8.00am,'' said a communique from KMTC.
In a report released recently by Cybemetrics Lab, a Spain-based research institution, KMTC was ranked among the best higher learning institutions in the world.
It was placed position 94 in Sub-saharan Africa and 165 in the world.
Traffic snarl-up is expected on major city roads, as a result of the event.
The College is ranked the best mid- level training institution in Kenya with University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University and some other universities placed ahead of it.
