More than seventy physically challenged persons from across Machakos county Sunday benefited from equipment such as wheel chairs from the Charity Mashinani initiative at Westlands.

Through the founder and the CEO Rita Ndunge, the program donated wheelchairs to over 70 physically challenged persons.

Rita Ndunge also met donors and engaged them on how to overcome challenges like funding.

Rita also called on all households with physically challenged persons to love them, not to hide them , and bring them out so that organizations like Charity Mashinani may support them.

Rita has so far declared her candidature for the Machakos women representative post in next year's general election.
