Chief Executive Halakhe Waqo said Sh7.5 million of the said assets, was recovered between 2015-2016, while the rest was recovered since 2005.
He said many of the assets were looted through facilitation of public officers.
He added that from April 2016 to date, 21 cases were concluded in court resulting in 18 convictions, with two governors being arraigned in Court over graft allegations
He said EACC is also investigating five other governors and are likely to be arraigned in Court.
Waqo was speaking during a one day workshop by EACC, that targeted Responsible Commissions and Independent Offices at Kenya School of Monetary Studies.
"The workshop is to equip them with the requisite knowledge and skills to perform their roles of monitoring the ethical standards of public officers within their jurisdiction and also take administrative action against officers who breach the set ethical standards,'' Waqo said, Tuesday.
He added: "While the EACC has the overall mandate to enforce and oversee implementation of Chapter Six and other integrity laws, the primary responsibility to enforce the same among public officers is vested in the Responsible Commissions."
