[Photo|Ochieng Owili]Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng' Owili has expressed satisfaction after the High Court in Kisumu upheld the victory of his boss, Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o.Nyong'o's predecessor, Jack Ranguma had filed a petition seeking for the nullification of the August 8, 2017 gubernatorial election.He argued that the election was not conducted in accordance with the law and was marred by electoral irregularities and malpractice.However, during the ruling on Wednesday morning, Justice David Majanja said the petitioner failed to substantiate the accusations in the petition.Owili thanked his legal team and the people of Kisumu, saying it was time to work.Below is his message:"God is faithful and good always. The resounding win of the Governor has been confirmed today by the High Court. Now it's time to work, we must all roll up our sleeves to work. Congratulations 'Omin Mary' your my Hero.
