[Photo|Ochieng Owili]Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili, condoled with the family of the late Archbishop Silas Owiti, the Patriarch and founder of the True Voice Of Salvation Church, who died at his home in Tura, Ahero.The late who was almost 90 years old, lost the battle to complications arising from a stroke that he suffered five years ago"The Bishop was not just a face of Kano or Kisumu but the nation at large. In the religious leadership of this nation, you might not count up to five before mentioning the name Bishop Silas Owiti," Owili said on Sunday.He advised that the County funeral committee should be expanded to accommodate all sectors including the church, the professionals and County government representation. Owilo affirmed that the County Government of Kisumu would provide any necessary logistical support to ensure that the Bishop receives a send off befitting his stature.The deputy governor also delivered special condolence message from the Governor Prof Anyang Nyong'o who is still out of the country.
