According to the legislator, police should be blamed for increased insecurity in the region.

“The killing of the 3 guards happened few meters away from Gesonso police station. Security officers have been pretending that there is tight security in the region but the incident confirms that the officers in Bonchari are lazy and should be moved to other areas with effect,” he said.

The MP regretted that the number of criminal activities is on the rise in the area and said something urgent need to be done to change the situation.

"Criminals hiding in Bonchari should be flushed out. It is time for locals to be vigilant and report any suspect to authorities for legal action to be taken,” stated Oyioka.

He called on security officers to launch investigations to arrest the criminals who hacked to death 3 guards identified as Casmil Momanyi, James Mairura and Ronald Monyange.

"The criminals who committed the crime should not be left to walk free. They should be pursued to be arrested and face the law,” said the MP.
