A Nairobi businessman who shot Ranalo foods proprietor William Osewe and another in his company was on Friday arraigned in court.
Oywa denied two counts of attempted murder after appearing before magistrate Charity Oluoch this morning even as the prosecution asked for stringent bail terms, including a restraining order to protect the two victims, particularly Osewe, who is still in the High dependency unit of a city hospital.
Magistrate Charity Oluoch warned Mboya against going anywhere near the restaurant and where the incident took place so as not to interfere with ongoing investigations.
There will be a mention of the case on December 23, for further directions, with the hearing set for Feb 1, 2017.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh 300,000.
The court was told that police are yet to record a statement from Osewe, who is under the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital, following last week’s incident that occurred at Garden estate.
