The group by the name 'Pacho Entertainment' was expected to perform at the campus' Talent Search Event, but failed to turn up, despite receiving Sh75, 000.

The three artists - Frasha, Rapdamu and Timmy TDat, stayed in hotels booked by Moi University students who paid Sh100 each to gain entry to the planned entertainment event.

"We paid Pacho Entertainment 70 per cent of the agreed amount, booked flights and hotel rooms for them but they failed to turn up for the event," said Captain Lennox, one of the organisers of the Talent Search Event.

According to Lennox, Pacho Entertainment was to receive a balance of Sh30,000 after the event.

The event had attracted students from as far as Nairobi and Maseno, after being widely advertised.

Frasha declined to comment on the matter when contacted on phone.
