Four members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) asked chairman Nicholas Gumbo to summon Kibet.

Kibet has severally been mentioned in the scam by witnesses and suspects linked to the scam.

Members to the Committee said Kibet may be hiding important evidence that can help unearth other persons behind the loot.

On Thursday, former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru said in a sworn affidavit that Kibet had received cash and exchanged numerous phone calls businessman Ben Gethi, a prime suspect into the scam.

She said this was done before and during transactions, according to the Star.

"We believe that Kibet can help the committee unravel the recipients of this cash. He is a person of interests considering that he made 150 calls to a key suspect in the days leading up the scam," said ODM chairman and PAC member, John Mbadi.
