Palos Ladies head coach Juma Saidi has expressed happiness after his team earned a promotion to the Women Premier League.

Saidi believes the team has the capability to manage a top five finishing in their debut season.

According to futaa, Saidi has admitted that the promotion came as a surprise to the team.

"Though the promotion came as a surprise and the fact that we have very young players who don’t have that much experience, we are taking the bull by its horns. The girls though have been impressive during the preseason and that’s all it takes to register good results. I will be banking on the preseason friendlies as they acted as eye opener on weak departments that needed to be strengthened," he said.

However, he has hopes that his inexperienced squad will perform better.

"I honestly believe that we can manage the top 5 spots and at least maintain the topflight football in the season after this one, "he told the clubs official portal.

The team will kick off their league campaign in Naivasha against Oserian ladies.
