More than 700 ex-workers still leaving at the Webuye Pan Paper Mills' residential houses have been told to vacate the premises as the company is scheduled to resume activities starting September 15.

According to a statement from the company's top management, ex-workers will vacate the houses to pave way for new staffs hired.

It further said ex-workers who were not paid when the company was shut due to bankruptcy will get their dues from the government.

The statement signed by Agricultural Development Corporation Chairman and former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli said former workers may be absorbed as the company re-opens.
