Rangwe parliamentary seat aspirant Ezra Odhiambo has gone missing since Saturday, the family has confirmed.

According to the family of the Green Congress aspirant, they have been unable to reach him on phone.

Area OCPD Esau Ochorokodi said the matter was reported and that they launched investigations.

"We have called his phone. It rings but nobody answers" Ochorokodi said.

The OCPD asked Rangwe residents to remain calm as they carry out further investigations

"Those who talk about abduction should hold their horses. Somebody may decide to conduct his affairs in a secret environment," he said.

"We are investigating the matter to unearth the truth."
