Residents of Mai Mahiu Naivasha woke up to a rude shock on Sunday when they found bodies of two men murdered and their bodies dumped by the roadside.
This brought to four the number of men killed and dumped in the area by unknown people in the last one week.
The duo had been strangled using a wire before been dumped along the escapement.
Last week, members of the public discovered the bodies of two men dumped along the Mai Mahiu-Narok road with head injuries inflicted using a blunt object.
The bodies which are currently at Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary have since been identified by their relatives.
“Every two weeks were are reporting cases of people killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped along this area a trend that is worrying,” a witness said.
A senior police officer who declined to be named confirmed the incident adding that the bodies had been collected and taken to the Naivasha mortuary.
“Members of the public on spotting the bodies which were a few meters from the road informed the police who moved in and collected them,” said the officer.
