National Bank and Cooperative Banks Ruiru branches have been closed after cracks emerged in the banking halls.

Customers seeking services at the bank were informed of the immediate closure in a notice that advised them to visit neighboring branches. 

According various media reports, a huge crack emerged on the wall forcing the hurriedly closure after fear engulfed customers that the facility could collapse soon.

Customers were advised to visit Zimmerman and TRM branches.

It is not clear when the facility will be re-opened.
